We are a family owned and operated purebred shorthorn and commercial cattle operation located in the foothills south east of Porterville, CA. Our herd started with one shorthorn heifer in 1991, and now consists of 85 head of shorthorn and crossbred cows. Along with our cow herd we also run an 800 head stocker operation, commercial feedlot, and custom hay harvesting business. Our main goal is to produce functional low maintenance shorthorn cattle that will add value to any purebred or commercial program.

We run our cows as any commercial cattle operation, they spend the entire year on native pastures, no permanent pasture. This allows us to weed out the cattle that cannot handle the harsh environment that we subject them to. Our cattle have kept us in business for 14 years and we are confident that they will do the same for you. Our philosophy is to raise seedstock quality cattle with a commercial cattlemen's common sense.
